Coloration Descriptions

1 Step Color Balance: The stylist will analyze your hair and come up with a formulation and application of your chosen color based on your hair type, skin tones and desired shade. Color is applied from the scalp to the ends of your hair.

1 Step Root Touch Up: 1 Step Root Touch Up maintains the regrowth from a prior color service, but focuses on the scalp area. This is usually done approximately three to four weeks after an initial scalp color is applied.

Base Adjust: Subtly shift the color of new regrowth on the scalp area. This quick service can create a slight shift but a big impact.

Full Highlight: Highlights are applied to the whole head. It provides lightness or depth throughout the entire head. Get soft to expressive end results.

Full Highlight with 1 Step Color Balance: Highlights are applied to the whole head. Color is applied to hair not enclosed in foils. This is great for gray coverage or lowlighting in between the foils.

Partial Highlight: Highlights are applied to half of your head. Partial highlights can be very natural looking and are designed to lighten the hair in a similar manner to the way the sun would lighten your hair. It’s also a great way to extend the life of a full head highlight.

Ombre: Ombre is the gradual lightening of the hair strand, usually fading from a darker color near the roots to a lighter one at the ends resulting in a two-tone look. Ombre can be very subtle or very striking. The look you want to achieve will depend on the technique and level of lightness.

Balayage: Balayage is a freehand technique in which a coloring technique is designed to create a graduated, natural looking effect. Since the  highlights are less systematically placed, you end up with fatter, less symmetrical, more random highlights, resulting in natural, sun kissed highlights.

Cellophane: Add shine and luster to your hair. Cellophanes can be the best solution if you want to temporarily change the look and feel of your hair. It will lock your color and add UV protection, shine and moisture balance. Ammonia, MEA and peroxide free, so it’s gentle on hair.

Olaplex: Olaplex multiplies bonds making hair stronger and healthier and color lasts longer with more vibrancy. Book as an upgrade to your color service or as a stand along conditioning treatment.
